Take Me Out to the Ball Game!
Angel 34, with the help of Dave Rank, Mike Schneider, and the Philadelphia Phillies, sponsored a "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" on Saturday, August 19th, 2006. Kids from Muhlenberg Specialty Care and their families got to enjoy a night of baseball and plenty of food and treats. Before the game, Brian Schneider (starting catcher for the Nationals), with some of his teammates, visited the kids and signed autographs. A special thanks to Derick Schuster and the staff of the Philadelphia Phillies for making the night enjoyable and Brian Schneider for the time spent with the kids. - Faith, Hope, Love

PA State Senator Lisa Boscola meets Lizzie

Dear Mr. Sheriff:

I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank you for taking the time to meet with me to discuss the Angel 34 Foundation.

This program, founded by your daughter Nicole during her battle with Ewing Sarcoma, has assisted many people to date and I am sure is due to help many more in the future. The donations of ICEE machines to hospitals, aid to children and families, the continuous search for a cure and providing scholarships to those in need is highly regarded and impressive. The therapy dog program is remarkable and I am glad to see that it is up and running with the newest addition to Angel 34, Lizzie.

Thank you, again, for taking the time to introduce me to the Angel 34 Foundation. Please know that my support of this program will not waver and I will continue to seek funding in Harrisburg. Please feel free to call upon me anytime regarding this or any state-related matter.

Sincerely,
Lisa M. Boscola
State Senator - 18th District
