Bone Marrow Donor Drive to Beat Leukemia
Derek Graffis is an awesome twenty year old young man from Bethlehem, PA in need of a Bone Marrow Transplant. Derek was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) in March 2008 during his senior year at Liberty High School. New chemotherapy drugs have helped him temporarily achieve a remission state, but now Derek will need a bone marrow transplant for a longer term solution. This requires someone to be an anonymous bone marrow donor for him, someone who is a genetic match to Derek. Please help him and others by registering to be a bone marrow donor.
Thousands of leukemia patients depend on everyday people to donate life-saving bone marrow to provide them hope for a cancer-free life. If you are age 18 to 60, and in good health, you can register for the national bone marrow registry with a simple mouth swab and a short medical history. Please see www.marrow.org for more information about becoming a donor.

Please attend this Bone Marrow Donor Drive and give the gift of life. There is no charge for this event, but a monetary donation toward the $90 cost of the DNA laboratory screening tests would be greatly appreciated. Wonderful baked goods and other treats will also be available to help offset the laboratory costs.
To make a donation to defray the testing lab fees please donate online by clicking below or call 610-533-1923. Please make checks payable to” Be the Match Foundation” and mail to Angel 34 Foundation, P.O. Box 494, Nazareth PA 18064.
